Beverley F. Matali: An Emotional Coach Guiding Women Toward Their Inner Light

Beverley-F.-Matali

Hello, first of all, could you introduce yourself, share your background, and tell us about your activities ?

My name is Beverley F. Matali. I was born in Canada and had the opportunity to live in Belgium as well, which gave me a truly international and multicultural background.

I am an Emotional Coach and Energy Healer, practicing Reiki and Yantha for over 25 years. Before dedicating myself fully to coaching and healing, I worked in the corporate world, specifically in operations and planning within the fashion industry.

Today, I support individuals, especially women, in reconnecting with themselves, healing emotional wounds, shifting their mindset, and creating a more aligned, peaceful, and purposeful life.

What about your professional life ?

My professional journey has been quite diverse. I worked in hospitality and later in the fashion industry, holding roles that were structured, demanding, and intellectually stimulating. While I appreciated the experience and the skills I developed, I felt that something was missing.
At some point, I realized that although I enjoyed what I was doing, it didn’t fully nourish my soul. I felt a deep inner calling to do work that had more meaning, impact, and emotional depth.

Why did you choose this field ?

From a very young age, I was naturally drawn to people and their emotions. Whenever I saw someone feeling sad, overwhelmed, or lost, I felt compelled to approach them, listen, and understand what they were going through.

As I grew older, I realized that many people don’t know they have the power to choose happiness. They often feel trapped by fear, limiting beliefs, or past experiences. I chose this field to help people shift their mindset, reconnect with their inner strength, trust themselves, and understand that a harmonious and fulfilling life is possible.

What are your upcoming projects ?

I am currently creating a membership program designed for people who want to grow emotionally and spiritually while being surrounded by like-minded individuals. It will be a space for mindset shifts, personal development, healing, and conscious growth.

In parallel, I am developing several coaching and healing programs to support individuals on their journey toward emotional balance, self-love, and inner alignment.

What moments or events have changed your life ?

One of the most defining moments of my life happened during my teenage years, when I became aware that the world we are shown is not always the reality we live in. I discovered that girls my age were being sold, that women in certain countries were denied a voice or basic rights.

That realization deeply shook me. From that moment on, I made a conscious decision: I would dedicate my life to helping girls and women understand their worth. To help them see that they can become whoever they choose to be, live in peace, feel empowered, and create the life they truly desire.

What is your advice for women who want to succeed ?

My advice is simple yet powerful: be authentic.

Do not compare yourself to others. Trust your uniqueness, your voice, and what you have to offer. Don’t let fear or self-doubt stop you, and don’t wait for perfection, because that moment will never come.
Take action, show up as you are, and allow yourself to adjust and grow along the way. Success comes through courage, self-trust, and consistency.

What is your opinion on the situation of women ?

In Canada, many women are still struggling to be fully seen and recognized, but I also observe a powerful shift. More women are stepping into their truth, expressing themselves, and claiming their space.
In the Democratic Republic of Congo, there is still a long journey ahead. Many women are not yet aware of their value, largely due to cultural conditioning and societal expectations. However, there are inspiring exceptions, women who have built successful businesses and are paving the way for others. This shows that change is possible.

What do you think of the website ?

I truly love the website. It creates a beautiful platform for women to be seen, heard, and valued. The diversity of backgrounds and stories is incredibly enriching and inspiring. It reflects the strength and richness of women’s journeys.

Any final words ?

So many women carry immense potential and inner light, yet still doubt themselves. My message is this: be yourself, unapologetically.

Shine your light, not to please others, but simply because it is who you are. Love every part of yourself. People will naturally be drawn to you, not just for what you do, but for the energy, passion, and authenticity you radiate.

Do not be afraid. You’ve got this.
